Well, I'll be darned if it's not the nicest thing to walk outside and pick a bunch of fresh-as-it-gets lettuce, spinach, and chard. A few tomatoes and cucumbers from the store, some delicious feta cheese, a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar and we had the perfect light dinner.
It's just so great when you get to this time of the season - it's beyond "hey, that looks like grass" and deep into "hey, that looks like food!"
